The town of Hope is on its way to having access to fiber internet after Indiana-based fiber internet provider Mainstream Fiber Networks and the town of Hope have announced a partnership to bring multi-gig fiber connectivity to the Hope community.
“We want Hope to continue moving forward while maintaining the small-town values that make our community special,” says Council Member for the Town of Hope Shanon Pittman. “Investments like this allow us to preserve our hometown character while giving our residents access to the same technology and opportunities found in much larger communities.”
Construction is underway and Hope residents and businesses can sign up or register their interest at msfiber.net to be among the first connected as the network goes live.
The partnership makes multi-gigabit internet speeds available in Hope using fiber infrastructure that local leaders believe will strengthen the town's economic competitiveness, support remote workers and students, and improve the quality of life for families throughout the area.
“Hope has been on our radar for a long time,” says Jeff Marston, CEO of Mainstream Fiber Networks, according to a recent press release. “We expect fiber internet to accelerate the economic growth that is already underway. We're going to build something Hope can count on for decades, and we’re excited for this partnership.”
Mainstream Fiber Networks will construct an all-fiber network capable of delivering low latency, symmetrical multi-gigabit speeds to homes and businesses across Hope. The service will include no data caps, no throttling, no hidden fees, and no long-term contracts, which is consistent with the company's commitment to transparent, customer-first service.
Hope Town Manager Jason Eckart says he’s excited about the anticipated high-speed fiber network and adds it’ll be a game changer for the community.
“High-speed fiber infrastructure is increasingly a deciding factor for businesses considering relocation or expansion, and for residents weighing where to put down roots,” he says.
According to the press release, Mainstream Fiber Networks employs Hoosiers for construction and operations and provides customer support staff based in Indiana. The Hope project is another example of the company's ongoing investment in rural and small-town Indiana communities.
Town and economic development leaders view the partnership as a significant step forward for Hope's long-term growth.
Construction is currently underway in Hope and Mainstream Fiber Networks expects to begin connecting customers by early 2027.
Residents can sign up or register their interest now at msfiber.net or by calling (812) 720-3123. Signing up early helps Mainstream gauge demand and prioritize the neighborhoods it connects first.
“The collaboration with Mainstream Fiber Networks to bring a new high-speed internet option to the town of Hope and its residents is a great opportunity to help improve affordability, reliability and quality of life,” says Herby Asher, town council member for the town of Hope. “This is an exciting time for our town!”
