Severe Weather Threat Forces Scale Down of Independence Day Celebration 06/26

By Yellow Trail Museum Board

Out of an abundance of caution, the Yellow Trail Museum voted tonight (June 23) that all outdoor activities involving Old Fashioned Independence Day have been greatly scaled down due to the forecasted rain and threat of severe thunderstorms Friday.

All remaining activities will take place inside the museum, and the fireworks show has been rescheduled to a date later this year.

The museum will be open 5:30 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. Friday with ice cream floats and kids crafts.   Little Miss and Mister Firecracker will still be announced at 6:15 p.m. and the Hope Heritage Days Grand Marshall will be announced at 6:20 p.m.

We regret this decision, but safety for this family event was a priority.
