Game Report for Week 03/02: Basketball and Cheerleading

Boys’ Basketball
Varsity vs. GCA
The Jets traveled north on Thursday to wrap up the regular season against Greenwood Christian Academy. A defensive battle in the first half led to the Jets leading 26-15 after the first 2 quarters of play. The Jets offense kicked into gear in half #2, erupting for 44 points and shooting a 65% clip from the field. The stingy Hauser defense stayed locked in throughout the contest, holding GCA to single digit points in 3 of the 4 quarters. The Jets would secure the victory outscoring GCA by 15 in the 4th quarter to win, 70-42.
The Hauser win was the 21st of the year, setting a new school record for wins in the regular season, surpassing last year’s total of 20.
The Jets now turn their attention to sectional play, opening up against Rising Sun on Wednesday evening at Milan. Tip time is approximately 7:30 p.m.

JV vs. GCA
The JV Jets wrapped up their season with a nice road victory over GCA by a score of 64-44. The JV team finishes the year with an impressive 18-2 record!

High School Cheerleading
On Saturday, February 28, 2026, your Hauser Jets cheerleaders brought home 3rd place in their first MHC Cheer Competition, just 1.1 points behind 2nd place! All 7 MHC schools were represented, with North Decatur taking 1st. Kaycee Ridgely & Ruby McKinney were recognized as winners of the Spotlight award, for standing out in our routine, and Kaycee Ridgely beat 13 other MHC contestants to win the jump-off challenge.
The cheerleaders would like to thank our loud and proud fan section for cheering with and for us. Go, Jets!
