Final preparations are underway for Hauser’s graduating Class of 2026 who excitedly anticipate the turning of their tassels at the conclusion of their graduation ceremony at 8 p.m. Friday, May 22 at the Hauser Jr. – Sr. High School Gym, located at 9273 N. State Road 9 in Hope.

The main gym doors will open at 7 p.m., organizers say.

Principal Kris Fortune describes this class of graduates as uniquely talented.

"The class has such a wide variety of personal interests and those who've found their passion and pursued it to high levels of success," Fortune says. "I would encourage them to continue to broaden their interests, not be afraid to try new things, and find new passions."

Once they figure out their passions, he adds, they should pursue them relentlessly to see what new doors they can open.

“This is a great group of kids,” says Brandy Konradi, administrative assistant with Hauser Jr. – Sr. High School. “It has been my pleasure watching them grow.”

Addressing the 67 graduates during the ceremony will be fellow classmates Valedictorian Kaysie Kistler and Salutatorian Mason Moore, in addition to some words from Principal Kris Fortune and Kristy Madden, dean of students, who will read the names of the graduates, and Superintendent Shawn Price, Konradi says.

“My hopes and dreams for the graduating Class of 2026 is that when they go out into this world it treats them well,” Konradi says. “If they stumble and fall, I want them to know that they have a home in Hope and that their community loves and supports them. Once a Jet always a Jet.”
