Town Council members hold onto seats

Incumbent Hope Town Council members won over their two challengers for the two at-large seats on the council in the 2018 race.

Town Council meetings postponed

A Hope Town Council executive session meeting originally scheduled for Wednesday, Nov. 7th has been postponed says Clerk-Treasurer Diane Burton. A Town Council working session scheduled for Nov. 8th has also been postponed.  The meetings will be rescheduled.

Suspect arrested after forcing his way into home

A Columbus man was arrested near Hope Tuesday evening after allegedly stealing a car at gunpoint and barging into a home on State Road 9.

Council candidates consider Hope Volunteer Fire Department funding
