The return of Hope's Old-Fashioned Independence Day celebration, hosted by the Yellow Trail Museum, welcomed hundreds of residents and visitors to the Hope Town Square in downtown Hope, Ind., on Friday, June 28, 2024. The event included an array of activities, including a water balloon toss, sack races and tug of war, and many delicious treats and crafts for all ages. The event also featured the crowning of Little Miss & Mister Firecracker Alani Hatton and Carson Lazzel, who led the bike parade around the Town Square, and a musical performance by the Banister Family Bluegrass Band.
